Renato Sanches made his first season with the Glorious colors in 2007/08, when he joined the Club from Águias da Musgueira. From then on, he went through several Benfica youth teams, becoming National Champion in U15 and U17.
His debut with the first team took place on October 30, 2015, against Tondela, in the 9th round of the National Championship, at the Estádio Municipal de Aveiro. Throughout the 2015/16 season, Renato Sanches became a key player in the Three-time Championship win, and also lifted the League Cup.
Voted Golden Boy in 2016, the midfielder joined the National Team while at Benfica, debuting on March 25. Later that year, he was signed by Bayern Munich and won the European Championship with Portugal.
With over 70 caps for the Portuguese national teams, Renato Sanches also played for Swansea, Lille, PSG, and Roma, winning the Bundesliga and Ligue 1, among other titles.
