Samuel Soares

He arrived at Benfica in 2013/14, started in the U-13s, and at the age of 20, the goalkeeper lifted the UEFA Youth League winner's trophy.

Samuel Soares went through all of Benfica's youth ranks: Under-13, Under-15, Under-17, Under-19, Under-23, and B Team, winning National Champion titles with the Under-17s and Under-15s.

In the final stage of the 2021/22 season, the goalkeeper celebrated Benfica's success in the UEFA Youth League.

An Under-21 Portuguese international, Samuel Soares began the 2022/23 season with a total of nearly three dozen matches with the Portuguese youth national teams.
