17th António Leitão Benfica Race was “another great success”
“We saw a lot of celebration, joy, Benfiquismo and glory, inside and outside this stadium,” Ana Oliveira, Benfica's athletics coordinator, told Benfica, about the 17th António Leitão Benfica Race, which she considered ‘another great success’ and which took place on Sunday, March 23. With Benfica's André Pereira and Paula Martins winning their respective races, and with an impressive 12,500 participants, the race was also marked by a fundraiser for the Pais21 association.
