The Return of the Heroes: Simão and Jonas

Benfica's professional football team held another training session this Friday, April 18, at the Benfica Campus, with a view to the match against Vitória SC, scheduled for this Saturday, April 19, at the Estádio D. Afonso Henriques, in Guimarães. The match of round 30 of the Liga Betclic is scheduled for 8:30 pm.

The newly crowned five-time national champions, Benfica's women's football team, were present at the Benfica Official Store at the Estádio da Luz on Tuesday afternoon, April 15. The Inspiradoras interacted with the many fans who lined up - some even waited more than two hours for the session to start - and who didn't waste the opportunity to talk to the protagonists of the historic feat and remember the moment with photographs. From the youngest to the oldest, everyone left satisfied. “Filipa, you're the best coach in the world,” said one Benfica fan.

As part of the 20th anniversary of the new Cathedral, celebrated on October 25, the members of Sport Lisboa e Benfica had their say and selected 20 of the Club's players who stood out during this period. Simão and Cardozo were two of those chosen for the Champions Wall at Estádio da Luz and, in an informal conversation, they opened their hearts, and revealed stories, all on a bridge built between the past and the future, built of memories and memories lived with an eagle on their chest in the iconic venue... Sport Lisboa e Benfica's Members selected 20 of the Club's players who stood out during the 20 years of the new Cathedral, celebrated on October 25. André Almeida was one of those chosen for The Champions Wall at Estádio da Luz.
