From the youngest to the oldest, everyone left satisfied. “Filipa, you're the best coach in the world,” said one Benfica fan.

With her four-season stint with Benfica's women's football team over, Cloé Lacasse said an emotional goodbye. In an interview, in the 3rd edition of the Zona Mística program, the Canadian striker talked about the affection of the fans, essential for the victories, and guaranteed that she will take the Club in her heart. As for the future of the three-time national champions, the athlete who scored 102 goals with her eagle on her chest, foresees high flights. "Benfica will continue to evolve and demand more achievements", she said. This interview is also part of the edition of the newspaper  O Benfica this Friday, June 30.

Rute Costa, Francisca Nazareth and Cloé Lacasse were distinguished para the Player's Union, who rewarded the trio's performance in 2022/23, a season in which the reds won the third league tittle in a row. From the hands of Carla Couto, delegate and ambassador of the entity for women's football, the Canadian international received the trophy for Best Player of the Liga BPI, which she added to Top Scorer of the competition (22 goals). Rute Costa was considered the Best Goalkeeper of the League, while Francisca Nazareth took home the Best Young Player of the Championship award.
