Bruno Lage coach of Sport Lisboa e Benfica's professional football team, was awarded Coach of the Month in the Liga Betclic 2024/25 in February. The eagles' captain received the majority of votes from his counterparts in the competition, with a total of 23.93%.

In the four league matches between February 2 and 22, Benfica won four times against Estrela da Amadora (away), Moreirense (home), Santa Clara (away) and Boavista (home), by a score of 2-3, 3-2, 0-1 e 3-0, respectively.
