A festive afternoon for Benfica's women's football team! At the Estádio Municipal de Leiria on Sunday, March 9, in the League Cup final, the Inspiradoras beat Sporting 2-1 to lift the trophy for the 5th time!

The eagles, the record holders in this competition with four trophies won in 2019/20, 2020/21, 2022/23 and 2023/24, played in the 6th final of this competition, maintaining their dominance.

Laís Araújo was voted Woman of the Match, while the trophy for Best Goalkeeper went to Lena Pauels.
