A goal from Carole Costa, a Benfica player, earned Portugal a 0-1 victory over Belgium on Wednesday, February 26, in the second round of Group A3 of the Nations League.

Starting at the heart of the National Team's defense, Carole Costa showed her usual coolness whe it comes to scoring penalty in the 51st minute and secured the three points for the Navegadoras at Den Dreef Stadium in Leuven.

As for the rest of the Benfica squad, Catarina Amado (replaced by Lúcia Alves in the 28th minute) and Andreia Norton were in the starting eleven, while Andreia Faria was brought on in the 89th minute. Rute Costa was not used.
