Benfica's women's football team will host Sporting on matchday 15 of the Liga BPI at Estádio da Luz. The derby is scheduled for 5 pm on February 1st, a Saturday.

This will be the first meeting between the two clubs to take place in the Cathedral this season.

In 2023, it should be remembered, the Estádio da Luz hosted the quarter-finals of the Portuguese Cup, On January 21, and later, on March 26, matchday 17 of the Liga BPI.

Before that, on May 8, 2022, Benfica's reception against Sporting culminated in the conquest of the second league title in a row. The first derby of the Inspiradoras at Estádio da Luz dates back to October 19, 2019.
