Aktürkoğlu assinou um hat-trick

MATCH HIGHLIGHTS

Benfica remain 100 percent victorious in the Liga Betclic with Bruno Lage at the helm, having picked up another 3 points in the 9th round match against Rio Ave on Sunday, October 27. Aktürkoğlu scored his first hat-trick with the Sacred Mantle in the robust 5-0 win.

In an excellent team display, generating a veritable offensive avalanche, Benfica got back to winning ways at the Estádio da Luz after the Champions League match on Wednesday, October 23. Bruno Lage made one change from the starting eleven presented by the eagles in that match, with Beste coming into the team and Florentino starting as a substitute. The Eagles played Rio Ave with Trubin, Bah, Tomás Araújo, Otamendi, Álvaro Carreras, Aursnes, Kökcü, Di María, Beste, Aktürkoğlu and Pavlidis.

In the 12th minute, the play began with a cross from the right by Aursnes into the center of the box. Miszta intercepted the ball under the threat of Pavlidis, who got a touch on it and it fell to Aktürkoğlu. The Turkish international won the battle and shot low into the back of the net, breaking the deadlock (1-0).

Galvanized, the Reds put their foot on the gas and after 16' they were already leading 2-0: Di María placed a long ball into the Rio Ave penalty box, where Aktürkoğlu leapt high and, with a slight deflection of his head, beat Miszta again. Maximum efficiency from the Turkish international, who has scored in every Benfica match at Estádio da Luz.

Before the break, in the 45th minute, it was Di María, in an insistent move, who took the ball to Aktürkoğlu, who, with a cross-shot, scored his first hat-trick for Benfica (3-0).

A warning of what was to come in the 79th minute: Renato Sanches opened up wide on the left for Beste, who served Álvaro Carreras, who crossed low for Schjelderup to finish (4-0). A goal from the number 21, at a time when they were celebrating the 21st anniversary of the new Luz. A happy coincidence, on the night that the Norwegian international scored his first goal with his eagle on his chest.
