BENFICA'S TRAINING SESSION

This Wednesday, September 18, Sport Lisboa e Benfica professional football team prepared the clash against Red Star on matchday 1 of the Champions League league phase.

Fredrik Aursnes, Renato Sanches and Tiago Gouveia are still doing gym work and were therefore absent from the session led by Bruno Lage. Watch or review here the first few minutes of the training session at Benfica Campus on the eve of the match.

Preparations for the clash with Barcelona

On the morning of Monday, January 20, Benfica's professional football team continued, in the rain, to prepare for the clash with Barcelona, on matchday 7 of the Champions League, scheduled for Tuesday, January 21, at 8 pm, at Estádio da Luz. Tiago Gouveia and Renato Sanches, undergoing treatment and gym work, were not part of the training session at Benfica Campus, which was attended by youngsters João Fonseca, Nuno Félix, Leandro Santos, Francisco Domingues, Tiago Freitas and Eduardo Fernandes. Operation Bologna: final preparations

On the morning of Tuesday, December 10, Benfica's professional football team finalized preparations for the match against Bologna, on matchday 6 of the Champions League league phase, scheduled for 8 pm on Wednesday, December 11, at Estádio da Luz. Tiago Gouveia and Renato Sanches, undergoing treatment and gym work, didn't take part in the training session on the Benfica Campus pitch, where young midfielder Diogo Prioste, from the B team, was called up.

Preparation for the clash against Atlético de Madrid

Ahead of the match against Atlético de Madrid, on matchday 2 of the league phase of Champions League, the professional football team of SL Benfica worked out this Tuesday morning, October 1, under the guidance of coach Bruno Lage. The match takes place at the Estádio da Luz at 8 pm on Wednesday, October 2nd. Watch or review here the first minutes of the training session that took place at the  Benfica Campus.
