The Benfica team is preparing for kick-off in the Liga Betclic 2024/25, scheduled for 6 pm on Sunday, August 11, in Minho.

With their Liga Betclic 2024/25 debut already on the horizon, Benfica's professional football squad is hard at work under the guidance of coach Roger Schmidt. The eagles will kick off the National Championship at 6 pm on Sunday, August 11, at the Estádio Municipal de Famalicão.
In the countdown to the clash with "Famalicenses" on matchday 1 of the Portuguese top flight, the Reds' on Tuesday, August 6, at Benfica Campus, was attended by Otamendi, who has returned from participating in the 2024 Olympic Games, and Renato Sanches, a midfielder who has returned home to strengthen the team this season.
Absent from the Benfica squad's preparation plan are Schjelderup (sprained left ankle) and Rollheiser (traumatic sprain, with partial damage to the medial collateral ligament in the left knee).
