Bah played his first minutes of the 2024/25 pre-season in the 1-1 draw against Brentford, on Thursday, July 25, at the Estádio da Luz, and was grateful for the strong support received by the more than 40,000 Benfica fans who attended the match.

"I really missed the Estádio da Luz. I'm very happy to be back. I came on vacation and quickly did 45 minutes. I wasn't expecting 40,000 people at the Estádio da Luz for a friendly match. That was fantastic. I think I can speak for all the players, we're very grateful to see so many fans," he said, speaking to BTV.

The right-back, who represented Denmark at the 2024 European Championship, said that the team's performance was positive in a game that was described as “difficult”. "The Brentford team is very physical, you could see that they have a lot of power. It was difficult. We did well. In a normal game they would probably have seen a red card after 5 or 10 minutes, but it was good that we played 11 against 11 players. It was a good game," he claimed after the fourth pre-season match.

Bah stressed that he sees the Eagles “on the right track”, guaranteeing that the team is completely identified with the ideas of coach Roger Schmidt. "Of course we do.
