Trubin

Trubin, Benfica's goalkeeper, was on the pitch for the entire match between Ukraine and Slovakia on Matchday 2 of Group E of the 2024 European Championship, which the Ukrainians won 1-2 in Düsseldorf on Friday, June 21.

The Benfica player made four saves - two of them in response to shots from inside the penalty box - cleared a cross with his fists and cleared two balls. In all, Trubin had 45 touches of the ball, with an 88 percent pass efficiency rate (30 completed out of 34 attempted, including one long pass), according to data from the Sofascore platform.

Slovakia went into the break ahead thanks to a goal from Schranz in the 17th minute (1-0), but in the second half the Ukrainians turned the result around with goals from Shaparenko in the 54th minute (1-1) and former Benfica player Yaremchuk in the 80th minute (1-2).

With this result, Ukraine have three points in Group E, along with Romania and Slovakia. On Saturday, June 22, at 20:00, Belgium, who have yet to take a point, will face Romania in the other match of this round 2. In the next round, the last of the group stage, the Ukrainian team will meet their Belgian counterparts at 5 pm on Wednesday, June 26, in Stuttgart.
