This Monday, June 10, Benfica hosted and beat FC Porto, by 3-2, on the pitch no.1 at the Benfica Campus, on matchday 12 of the championship group of the U-17 National Championship, winning the competition for the second year running and securing their 21st title in this class!

The Reds thus sealed their victory and the title, achieved thanks to 10 wins and two draws (with 31 goals scored and 12 conceded) in the championship round of the U-17 National Championship, of which there are still two rounds to play.

In the first phase (South Series), in which 12 teams took part, the Reds won 15 times. There were also six draws in the 22 matches played. With 51 points, the Under-17s had 71 shots on target and conceded 24 goals, finishing in 2nd place
