Kökcü, the Benfica midfielder, was a starter in Turkey's defeat against Poland (2-1), in a friendly match held this Monday, June 10, in Warsaw.

In Turkey's final test for the 2024 European Championship in Germany, Kökcü played in midfield, where, according to data from the Sofascore platform, he had an 88% pass accuracy (38/43) in the 90 minutes of play.

The eagle also had three shots, two of them on goal, and won four of the five duels he played in.

David Jurásek, who has been on loan at German side Hoffenheim for the 2023/24 season, played as a substitute - he came on in the 66th minute - in Czechia's 2-1 win over North Macedonia in preparation for the European Championship.

Turkey and Czechia are Portugal's opponents in Group F of the European Championship. The Portuguese national team kick off against Czechia (June 18 in Leipzig), followed by Turkey (June 22 in Dortmund) and Georgia (June 26 in Gelsenkirchen).
