Excellent results in National Tournament

After almost a year of arriving in Chongqing to continue the technical partnership with the Chongqing Football Association, which aims to work with the younger age groups on the methodological principles of Sport Lisboa e Benfica, the teams from the 2016, 2015, 2014, 2013 and 2012 generations took part in a National Tournament during the Labor Day holiday in China.

Under the guidance of SL Benfica coaches Ricardo Mota and André Luís, all the club's teams achieved excellent results and showed good football.

Under coach Ricardo Mota, the 2014 generation won the tournament in the U10 category, winning all 6 games, scoring 36 goals and conceding just 8 goals. With the 2013 generation, who played with two teams, they came 2nd and 3rd in the U11 category.

Coach André Luís, with the 2016 generation, took 3rd place in the U8 category, scoring 72 goals and conceding just 8 in 7 games played. This was the first tournament for this team, which was formed last March.

The remaining 2015 and 2012 generations, under the guidance of Chinese coaches, came 3rd and 1st respectively. Over the past year, all these generations have been trained under SL Benfica coaches.
