Kökcü: "The three points are all that matter"

Kökcü was one of the standout players in Benfica's excellent collective display in the 4-0 win over Portimonense, in the game from matchday 23 of the Liga Betclic, held this Sunday, February 25, at Estádio da Luz.

"It was an important win. The three points are all that matter, so we're happy," said the midfielder in a quick statement to BTV shortly after the final whistle.

The midfielder provided the assists for Neres' goal (2-0) and Rafa's second goal (4-0) - the Portuguese forward opened the scoring and Di María made it 3-0 - but the quality of his display wasn't limited to these two moments.

"Today [February 25], I enjoyed playing further forward, I think I was able to show my qualities better than lately, but I'm happier to get the three points, that's the most important thing for us, to be champions in the end," Kökcü said.
