Arthur Cabral, scorer of Benfica's goal at Vizela (1-2), in the quarter-finals of the Portuguese Cup, and Álvaro Carreras, who made his first-team debut, analyzed the Reds' victory.

The evening of Thursday, February 8, was marked by Benfica's qualification for the semi-finals of the Portuguese Cup, where they will meet Sporting (two-legged). The victory was secured with goals from Arthur Cabral and João Mário.

"A great victory"

"A great victory, a very important step, but a great match. Now we have to keep working to achieve this season's goals.[Performance?] This is Arthur Cabral, the one who helps the team in many ways, not just by scoring goals. The focus is to keep developing, keep scoring, and help the team in any way. [Semi-final against Sporting?] It's a clássico, but our focus now is on the league. On Sunday [20:30] we have a big match [matchday 21, against Vitória SC, at Estádio D. Afonso Henriques], then we have the Europa League [the first leg of the play-off, against Toulouse, will be played on Thursday, February 15, at 20:00, in Luz]. So we'll go game by game."

"We worked hard to win"

"We worked hard to win and get through to the semi-finals, and now we have a lot of games ahead of us. [Starting lineup?] I'm proud to be here and to have this opportunity, I'm working for it. We have a lot of games in a row, we have to take it little by little, and I'm going to keep working. [Derby against Sporting in the Cup?] I'd be proud to play in the first derby, but we still have a few games before we get there."
