Sport Lisboa e Benfica informs that it has reached an agreement with FC Dallas, from the United States, for the permanent transfer of footballer Musa.

Contratado pelo Benfica em maio de 2022, Signed by Benfica in May 2022, Musa played in 41 matches, between the Championship (30), Champions League (6), Portuguese Cup (2), and League Cup (3), and scored 11 goals during 2022/23, the season in which he became national champion with the Sacred Mantle.

At the start of the 2023/24 season, he added the Cândido de Oliveira Super Cup to his trophy cabinet, in a match in which he scored a goal. It was the start of a competitive cycle with 25 games played, spread over five competitions - Championship (14), Champions League (6), Portuguese Cup (3), Super Cup (1) and League Cup (1) - and six goals scored.

The Croatian international forward, a status he achieved during his time with the eagle on his chest, ends his career at the club having played 66 games and scored 17 goals.

SL Benfica wishes Musa all the best in this new phase of his career.

Benfica-Tirsense: extended match highlights (4-0)

In front of almost 50,000 spectators at the Estádio da Luz, Benfica confirmed their qualification for the 2024/2025 Portuguese Cup final on Wednesday night, April 23, by beating Tirsense 4-0 in the second leg of the semi-final (goals from António Silva, Bajrami, Belotti and Barreiro). In the first game, the Eagles had won 0-5. Thus, with a 9-0 aggregate in the semi-final, the Glorioso reached the decisive match of the Portuguese Cup for the 39th time. On their way to Jamor, the Reds overcame Pevidém (0-2), Estrela da Amadora (7-0), Farense (1-3), SC Braga (1-0) and, finally, Tirsense in a two-legged tie.
