It is with great pride that I congratulate the Sport Lisboa e Benfica's women's rugby team on winning the National Championship.

Sunday's victory is the culmination of the dedication and resilience of the players and all the staff, putting our rugby back on the level it deserves.

So congratulations to everyone involved for the sixth national championship in our history!

They hadn't been national champions since 2013 and the support from our members and fans was once again unbeatable.

For three days, between April 14 and 16, Benfica Campus hosted the 1st edition of the Goalkeeper Experience, an initiative that allowed 20 boys and girls, born between 2007 and 2012, to develop and perfect their sporting performance as goalkeepers, according to SL Benfica's training methodology. A success, to be repeated!
