Benfica shared the spoils (1-1) with Eintracht Frankfurt this Thursday afternoon, December 21, in a game from matchday 4 of Group A of the Women's Champions League, held at the Frankfurt Stadium. It's an important result for the three-time national champions in terms of their (unprecedented) qualification for the quarter-finals, which can be confirmed in the next round in Sweden.

This result in Germany is important for Benfica, who now have 7 points and are one step closer to securing their (historic!) passage to the quarter-finals of the Champions League.

As a result of her solid and important role in the Benfica defense, Christy Ucheibe was awarded Player of the Match.
