The UEFA Refereeing Committee has appointed German referee Daniel Siebert, an international since 2015, to referee the Champions League Group D match between Benfica and Salzburg, at 8 pm on Tuesday, December 12, at the Salzburg Stadium in Salzburg.

Jan Seidel and Rafael Foltyn will be the assistant referees and Daniel Schlager the fourth official.

Germany's Marco Fritz will be the video referee (VAR) and the Netherlands' Dennis Higler will be the AVAR.
