Registration for the 2024 edition of the Elite Training Camps of Sport Lisboa e Benfica is open. Enjoy the early bird until January 6.

Program developed by Sport Lisboa e Benfica at Benfica Campus, the Elite Training Camps is aimed at young people who want to develop and improve their sports performance.

For registrations at the Elite Training Camps 2024, which will be held in June and July, athletes must have been born between 2005 and 2011.

CALENDAR

Elite Training Camps: Men's

  • 1st WEEK: June 23 to 29, 2024

  • 2nd WEEK: June 30 to July 6, 2024

  • 3rd WEEK: July 14 to 20, 2024

Elite Training Camps:Women's

  • WEEK: July 7 to 13, 2024

At the disposal of the participants will be put methodology, coaches, knowledge and programs that turned Sport Lisboa e Benfica into a worldwide reference in the training of young athletes.

The methodology applied in the Elite Training Camps will be the same that Sport Lisboa e Benfica uses in the training of athletes and that guarantees the Club the sustainability of the first football teams.

Through the specific training that Sport Lisboa e Benfica provides, young athletes will be able to develop technical, tactical, physical and psychological skills. Aspects such as running technique, ball relationship, tactical circulations, offensive and defensive game principles should be worked daily in both individual and collective context.

For three days, between April 14 and 16, Benfica Campus hosted the 1st edition of the Goalkeeper Experience, an initiative that allowed 20 boys and girls, born between 2007 and 2012, to develop and perfect their sporting performance as goalkeepers, according to SL Benfica's training methodology. A success, to be repeated!

The newly crowned five-time national champions, Benfica's women's football team, were present at the Benfica Official Store at the Estádio da Luz on Tuesday afternoon, April 15. The Inspiradoras interacted with the many fans who lined up - some even waited more than two hours for the session to start - and who didn't waste the opportunity to talk to the protagonists of the historic feat and remember the moment with photographs. From the youngest to the oldest, everyone left satisfied. “Filipa, you're the best coach in the world,” said one Benfica fan.
