Roger Schmidt regrets the ineffectiveness in game against Casa Pia and points to a reaction already in the next clash with Arouca.

Roger Schmidt
FRUSTRATION WITH THE OUTCOME
"Honestly, I'm very frustrated, because we wanted to win the game after Tuesday [defeat with Real Sociedad, 0-1]. We wanted to perform well, and I think we started well, we played good football. We knew in advance that it would not be easy to create clear scoring chances against Casa Pia, because they defend very well near the box and inside it. Despite that, we put Casa Pia under pressure. We scored the first goal and there were two ways to win: the first was to score the second, third or fourth goal, and the second was to make no mistakes in defense and win 1-0. Unfortunately, we have not been able to put these options into practice. We created opportunities, but we were not effective, and in defence we made two big mistakes. In the first one, Trubin saved the penalty, and the second mistake resulted in a goal. The team tried everything to score the second goal."
CHANGE THE MOMENT
"We’re doing a lot of good things. There are always hard times when we don’t succeed, it’s always like that in football. At Benfica, drawing or losing games means not succeeding. We lost the 1st game [in Liga Betclic], then we won the following seven. Drawing at home is something that no one is satisfied with. My task is to work the team and prepare it for the next games. The only way to change the moment is to win the next game. It’s our task. We have to work and improve individually and collectively. That’s what we have to do right now."
PLAYERS' ATTITUDE HIGHLIGHTED
"I’ve said several times that when you look at statistics it’s one thing, but every game has its own story. In my opinion, we showed a good reaction to Tuesday’s game [with Real Sociedad]. We played good football. The players did everything they could. They were very good in terms of pressure, recovered many balls, did everything that could be done in those moments. Of course we had to win, but in my analysis, for most of the game, the players showed very good attitude and good football. That’s what I saw. We weren’t able to win, and we have to win several games in a row, that’s crystal clear, we’re at Benfica."
THE FANS' SUPPORT
"[The fans] were fantastic, they supported us, I think they were satisfied with our performance when we were ahead, and they wanted to beat Casa Pia. Then we conceded the equalizer and were not able to score the second goal. They’re just as frustrated as we are because they want to be champions, just like us."
