Benfica beat Apollon 0-7 on Wednesday, October 11, at the Tsirion Stadium in the first leg of the second qualifying round of the Women's Champions League. On an afternoon bordering on perfection, the Inspiradoras took an important step towards a third straight presence in the group stage and also celebrated their 1000th goal, scored by Marie Alidou, in 184th match in all competitions.
