Benfica and Crowdclass launch digital collectibles to celebrate the 38th national title

Sport Lisboa e Benfica launches its first set of limited and blockchain-authenticated collectibles, in an offer aimed at a digital audience of fans and collectors, to celebrate and commemorate the achievement of the 38th National Championship. The 1904 Mystery Boxes are now available for purchase, priced €90 (including VAT).

This innovative product was developed in partnership with Crowdclass, a Portuguese company specializing in digital collectibles, and will provide fans with an immersive digital experience.

Each box/case contains three authenticated digital collectibles: a numbered 3D representation of the championship cup, one of +100 exclusive video highlights of the season and victory celebrations, and one of 104 digital player cards, with different rarity levels (bronze, silver, gold, and platinum).

These digital collectibles will also give access to exclusive experiences and benefits for their owners. This is the case of limited edition merchandising, created exclusively for this collection (a T-shirt and a scarf), but also other offers and experiences for the next season, such as the possibility to watch matches in a box, visits to Estádio da Luz and the Benfica Museum - Cosme Damião or official jerseys. The unveiling of the NFTs will take place on June 19.

The digital collectibles will be issued as NFTs on the Polygon blockchain, making them fully owned by the buyer. As a result, fans can keep or trade their collectibles with other fans and further expand their collection.

The purchase process is facilitated by Crowdclass, a Portuguese platform for managing and issuing NFTs, ensuring a simple experience for all fans. Mystery Box can be purchased using credit cards, cryptocurrencies or MB WAY.

You will also have the option of giving a Mystery Box directly to a friend or family member.
