For the second year in a row, Benfica organized a training course for coaches in Florence, Italy. In the 2023 edition, which took place on April 28 and 29, the Club's Youth Development Methodology was explained to 120 Italian coaches.

The auditorium of the Football Museum, located in the sports complex of the Italian football federation, was the stage for the theoretical sessions, while the US Affrico pitch hosted the practical sessions, which included the participation of 18 young athletes from the Italian club.

The training course, organized in partnership with the portal Allenatore.net, was taught by Benfica Coaches Benfica Davide Gomes and Tiago Silva.
