The CQFA/Benfica U-14 team participated in the CFA Youth Tournament, a competition that brings together the best teams in the Chinese territory. The team coached by the Benfica manager Fernando Costa finished in the 4th position.

The Benfica coach is working on the partnership between the Club and the Chongqing Football Association (which has existed since 2019), aiming to develop youth football in the region. The U-14 team that he leads participated in the competition that includes the best Chinese teams of the age group, finishing in 4th place, after losing in the semi-final, in the penalty shootout. In the match for 3rd and 4th place, the team lost by 2-0, with two own goals.

The Club's performance is seen as very positive by those in charge, who consider that the impact of the Club on the development of youth football in Chongqing can already be felt.
