Trio stands out in the best attack of the Liga BPI

It is due to the strong collective that the Benfica women's team concluded the 1st half of the Liga BPI in the lead and with a 100% winning record!

The two-time national champions have the best defense, with only two goals conceded, and on the attack the team led by Filipa Patão stands out with 48 goals (an average of 4.3 goals per match)!

The trident formed by Jéssica Silva, Cloé Lacasse and Francisca Nazareth, who are on the podium of the top scorers, contributed a lot to this facet of the Liga BPI's best attack. Together, they have scored 25 goals, which is equivalent to 53 per cent of the reds'goals.

Jéssica Silva is in red-hot form. Already considered the best player of November/December in the League, the Portuguese international has 10 goals, eight of which were scored in the last three rounds!

In an analysis of the goals from the number 77, six of them came from shots with the right foot. Technically proficient, Jéssica Silva also overcame opposing defenses with three headers and once shot into the back of the opposite goal with her left foot.

Like Cloé Lacasse and Francisca Nazareth, all the goals of Jéssica Silva, who averages one goal every 45 minutes, were scored inside the box.

Playing for Benfica sin July 2019, Cloé Lacasse Cloé Lacasse is the second-best scorer of the 1st half of the Liga BPI League, with eight goals.

The Canadian international has six goals with her left foot, to which she adds two goals with her right foot, in 11 games.

Behind the experienced Canadian forward, voted the best player of September/October in the Liga BPI, comes Francisca Nazareth, with the same goals as Diana Silva (Sporting) and Telma Encarnação (Marítimo), but fewer minutes played.

The 20-year-old Benfica creative contributed with seven goals to the Reds' performance in the 1st half of the Championship.

With two converted penalties, the young Portuguese international shot with her right foot on five occasions, celebrated a goal following a left-footed shot and scored once with her head.

With the ambition that characterizes the Inspiradoras, Jéssica Silva, Cloé Lacasse and Francisca Nazareth have shown an insatiable appetite for the opposite net, which could be another enticement for the derby against Sporting.
