Crucial in consolidating the Liga Bwin leadership with the goal that earned Benfica a win (0-1) at Estádio do Dragão, against FC Porto, Rafa was clear about the purposes of the team, stressing that they "remained true to their work" and that ended up being the secret of the victory.

"The only thing that mattered to us was to win, it didn't matter who scored the goal. Now we have to go game by game and win our games", he said with "Man of the Match" trophy in his hands.

THE DECISIVE GOAL

"We were playing with one more player and we remained true to our work and that led to the victory", he explained.

As for the six-point lead over the second-placed team, the Glorioso's number 27 added: "It was another match that we won. We are going step by step, game by game, that's what matters."
