The number 1 member of Sport Lisboa e Benfica, Emílio Andrade Júnior, passed away at the age of 101. Member since 12, constitutes an example of unconditional love and dedication to Benfica.

Message from the President of Sport Lisboa e Benfica: "Today is a sad day for Sport Lisboa e Benfica with the passing of our number 1 member, Emílio Andrade Júnior. He was always a great example of dedication and passion to our club. Loved by everyone, with great friendliness and an enormous heart. Always available for the club, was an inspiration and example for all Benfiquistas, without ever forgetting the fraternal relation with Eusébio. On behalf of Sport Lisboa e Benfica, I want to express our deepest condolences to his family and friends.

Sport Lisboa e Benfica will observe a minute of silence in the loving memory of Emílio Andrade Júnior before today’s game kick-off.

For three days, between April 14 and 16, Benfica Campus hosted the 1st edition of the Goalkeeper Experience, an initiative that allowed 20 boys and girls, born between 2007 and 2012, to develop and perfect their sporting performance as goalkeepers, according to SL Benfica's training methodology. A success, to be repeated!

The newly crowned five-time national champions, Benfica's women's football team, were present at the Benfica Official Store at the Estádio da Luz on Tuesday afternoon, April 15. The Inspiradoras interacted with the many fans who lined up - some even waited more than two hours for the session to start - and who didn't waste the opportunity to talk to the protagonists of the historic feat and remember the moment with photographs. From the youngest to the oldest, everyone left satisfied. “Filipa, you're the best coach in the world,” said one Benfica fan.
