Fernando Pimenta, athlete of Sport Lisboa e Benfica, won the bronze medal this Friday, August 19, at the European Championships in Munich, Germany.

The benfiquista finished the race with 1:38.80 minutes, only behind the German Jacob Schoff (1:38.01) and the Hungarian Adam Varga (1:38.23).

Fernando Pimenta, will be also in the K2 1000 final, next Sunday, teaming up with the benfiquista João Duarte, after the third place in the semi-final.

This Saturday, at noon in Portugal, Fernando Pimenta will be in the K1 1000 final, and then, at 5:25 pm, will be in the K1 5000 final
