Pedro Pichardo: Olympic, World and European champion
After winning the world title in Eugene, USA, Pedro Pablo Pichardo remains unstoppable.
At the Olympic Stadium in Munich, the Benfica’s athlete jumped 17,05 meters in the final. The Italian Andrea Dallavalle was second with 17,04 meters the French Jean-Marc Pontvianne was third with the mark of 16,94 meters.
"I’m very happy. It’s the fruit of hard work and dedication", commented Pichardo, to RTP. "I want to keep winning titles and to make some great jumps", he added. "It was the title I was looking for, I’m very happy. I will keep working to win more titles. I’m still seeking the world record", shared Pichardo, to Antena 1.
