Benfica will face FC Midtjylland in the 3rd qualifying round of the Champions League. The reds host the Scandinavian team in the first leg, in a match scheduled for Tuesday, August 2, at 8 pm, at Estádio da Luz.

The second leg clash is scheduled for August 9, and will be held in Denmark, at the Herning Stadium. FC Midtjylland saw off AEK Larnaca, after winning in the penalty shootout (3-4), after a 1-all at the end of the regulation time, the match held this Tuesday, July 26, in the city of Larnarca, Cyprus. The two teams drew 1-1 in the first leg, in Denmark.
