Carlyn Baldwin, 26-year-old midfielder (17.03.1996), is the new signing of the women's football team of Sport Lisboa e Benfica, until 2024. The eagles are her third club in Portugal, after Sporting and Torreense. For the American, "it's a special feeling" to wear the red jersey.
"When I played against Benfica, I was able to feel the team’s level. It’s a special feeling to be here and to have the trust of the coaching staff to join this squad", she said, to BTV.
Carlyn Baldwin is aware of the Club’s dimension and the quality of the group led by Filipa Patão...
"To be a part of this team we have to do everything to win at each moment. This also applies to play the Champions League. We got to be ready", underlined.
The North American is the fourth player to join the reds, after Andreia Norton, Rute Costa and Daniela Silva.
