Alexander Bah is a Benfica player!

The right-back Alexander Bah (24 years old) is the new signing of the professional football team of Sport Lisboa e Benfica. The Danish international has signed a five-year contract with the reds (until 2027).

Alexander Bah represented Slavia Praha in the last two seasons. During this period he played 67 matches and, as a right-back, scored seven goals in almost 6000 minutes played.

"Benfica is a big club with fantastic fans and players and has produced some of the best players in the world, fantastic right-backs, it's the right move for me. Benfica did well in the European competitions and we also have to win the Portuguese League. I can't wait to get to work", he claimed to BTV.

"I am very excited and happy to be here. As soon as I heard that Benfica was interested in me, I had no doubt that I wanted to play for this huge club with a fantastic stadium, fascinating fans and great players", he said, describing himself: "I am an offensive right-back, who runs a lot, with a lot of power, I like duels, defending and attacking, scoring goals and also providing assists." 

"The fans can expect blood and sweat in every match, I will always give my best. I'm looking forward to being on the pitch", he promised.
