The midfielder Andreia Faria renewed her contract with Sport Lisboa e Benfica until 2024. The two-time champions arrived at the club in 2018/19, coming from Vilaverdense after carrying out her formative years at Diogo Cão and at Abambres, and already has more than a hundred matches with an eagle on her chest.

" I am proud to be able to extend my contract with this great institution that is Sport Lisboa e Benfica. I hope to stay many more years because it is my beloved club and it is a club that I love to represent ", claimed Andreia Faria.

With the conquest of the Liga BPI comes new participation in the women's Champions League...

"Winning the Liga BPI is the most important because it allows us to play in the Champions League, which is an environment where all players want to be because the best players and teams are there. It is very good for us to play the Champions League", she claimed.

Benfica is the current two-time National Champion of women's football, but the Club's DNA obliges the team to think of more successes.

"At Benfica we only think about playing to win. Therefore, we want to win the third league title in a row next season", assured Andreia Faria.
