Benfica B's good season yielded another trophy. Umaro Embaló, the 20-year-old winger, was voted the Best Young Player of December in the Liga 2. 

Benfica B's winger collected 14,69% of the votes, beating Diogo Pinto (14,62%), from Estrela da Amadora, and Gonçalo Borges (10,96%), from FC Porto B.
