Difficult, contested and strongly conditioned by the effects of the European game against Bayern Munich, Benfica left Vizela with the three points. The lead (0-1) came in the last minute of the injury time, through Rafa, when few believed, except the Benfiquistas and Jorge Jesus' men. They achieved their goal, won, and are still firmly on top of the Liga Bwin. Mission accomplished!

The explosion of joy of Benfica's athletes and the Benfiquistas present in the stadium reflected the team's belief and attitude in search of the three points. But the mission was accomplished, and on Wednesday, October 27, another clash in the Minho, this time against Vitória de Guimarães, at 7:30 pm for matchday 2 of group B of the Allianz Cup, in what will be Benfica's debut in the competition.
