With two goals scored after the break, Darwin was named "Man of the Match" in the 0-5 win of SL Benfica against Santa Clara at Estádio de São Miguel, in Azores, in Matchday 5 of the Liga Bwin.

"I’m very happy for what we did. I think we didn’t play well in the first half; we have to be self-critical. Then we changed things and played a great second half", said the striker.

Darwin also talked about the near future, the clash against Dynamo Kiev in Ukraine, in the CL Group Stage, next Tuesday, September 14.

"We got to defend Benfica’s jersey, it’s not going to be easy for us and not for them. We’re going to work to get the best result we can", finished the Uruguayan.
