João Mário: "We will be well prepared"

The midfielder featured in Jorge Jesus' starting lineup for the training match against Casa Pia and expressed his satisfaction with his integration process.

"I felt good, it was a good training session. I wanted to adapt to my new teammates and it was important to get some playing time", he praised, considering it helped a lot that I already knew some teammates before: "The group is spectacular, they received me well. It's important to know Rafa, Pizzi and André Almeida because I've already been with them on the National Team. Everyone received me well and this makes the adaptation process much easier."

"We have to think first about doing well in the Champions League, the first big goal of the season. Knowing the coach well, he always likes teams that are good physically and play good football. We want the supporters to like what we do and enjoy it. We are preparing well, with big loads. I'm sure we'll arrive on August 3 or 4 well prepared", he finished.
