"It was another good training match to gain rhythm", claimed Gil Dias at the end of the Benfica-Almería match (2-1), the eagles' 6th friendly match in this pre-season. The number 31, who was one of the signings for 2021/22, played in the second half.

"It was another good training match to gain rhythm and assimilate the coach's ideas. We all gave our best and that is the most important thing", he considered, in words spoken to BTV.

"We have been feeling better and better. We are training to come in strong for the Champions League matches, which are very important", he guaranteed.
