STATEMENTS
Cloé Lacasse, 27,Canadian forward, has renewed her contract with Sport Lisboa e Benfica until 2024. At Luz since July 2019, the number 20 has already helped the team win 1 National Championship, 2 League Cups and 1 Super Cup.
"I am really excited. I was speaking with my family and the they are super excited as well. I have been playing at the Club for two years now and I am very excited with the future and what is ahead with this project, I happy to be part of it", she claimed to BTV.
In addition to the four titles with Benfica, Cloé Lacasse has shown a rich goalscoring vein, with 47 goals in 52 games in all competitions.
"I want to keep building a history of achievements at the Club. Benfica is doing a big statement and we are doing very well. Getting called for Canada is an honor and the Club had a huge part in doing so, because they put me on the global stage. I hope to continue growing, winning trophies, scoring goals and being called to represent the Canadian national team", she wished.
