"The women's basketball team of Sport Lisboa e Benfica is to be congratulated for winning, this morning, the first Portuguese Cup in its history.

Women's sports represent a clear and unequivocal bet at Benfica, which, along with other sports, is today the only club that competes in the championship of the five main indoor sports.

To the athletes, coaching staff, and respective structure, I address my congratulations for this achievement that makes us very proud and that, being the first, will have a special place in the history of our Club."
