Lucas Veríssimo: "We played a great game"
The central defender made his debut in the Portuguese Cup on the night Benfica sealed their ticket to the final after beating Estoril 2-0.

Benfica qualified for the Portuguese Cup final, after beating Estoril by 2-0, in the 2nd leg of the semi-final. Lucas Veríssimo praised the Reds' display.
"We studied our opponent well, our team played very well, we were able to put them under pressure and we were happy today. We played a great game, we deserved the win and the qualification", started by saying the center-back.
Looking ahead, the center-back stated that the focus is on the competitions that are still to be played.
"Of course we wanted to go through in all competitions, but unfortunately this is how football is, only one team qualifies. Now we have the Portuguese Cup and the Championship, and we will focus on what is left to play", stressed Benfica's number 4.
