Playing as the home team, Benfica will fight for a spot in the quarterfinals (Final 8) of the UEFA Futsal Champions League this Saturday (7 pm), against the Hungarian side of MVFC Berettyoujfalu.

"It is a knockout game. It has its own history. It is a game where everything will be decided, but it is still a game. And we are prepared for it. We are looking at this game with enormous ambition. We know our opponent, who, certainly, also knows us", analyzed the coach of the Reds, in statements with BTV.

Joel Rocha

More than 11 years later, the reds play again at home for the UEFA Futsal Champions League.

"We must be able to impose our best qualities and capabilities because we really want to win this game, to play at home again so long after and win again, which is how it happened last time in this competition. If 11 years ago Benfica wrote history, today we have the privilege of rewriting history in this competition. May we be able to put all our ambition, commitment, and quality on the court", said Joel Rocha.

Fábio Cecílio

Experienced in games at the highest level, the Portuguese international Fábio Cecílio warned about the qualities of the Hungarian team, reinforcing, however, Benfica’s big goal.

"It is a team that is used to winning, just like us. We know they have international players who are technically evolved, and it is up to us to do our job and get the victory, which is our main goal", he claimed.
