Taarabt analyzed Benfica's draw against V. Guimarães (0-0), on matchday 17 of the Liga NOS.

"We started the match on the front foot. We could have scored goals in the first half. In the first 15 minutes of the second half, we pressed the opponent, but we couldn't score. We knew that V. Guimarães was going to defend. We tried everything to scored, but we couldn't. We are very sad", he regretted.

The center-midfielder was one of the standout performers and pointed out what the team lacked to score the goal.

"I tried to create plays, as I always. Sometimes things went wrong, sometimes well, but I always try to find spaces, teammates to play between lines. Today we played well, we managed to play between lines, but the last pass, the cross, or the finishing did not go as we intended. We’re disappointed", stressed Taarabt.
