Sport Lisboa e Benfica  informs that it will be present in the Final Four of the League Cup, with the ambition of winning the competition, as in all competitions it competes.

After having publicly exposed, in a cautious and transparent manner, the increase of covid cases in its professional structure, Benfica has not received from the competent authorities - DGS and League of Clubs - any recommendation contrary to the rules in force until now in national competitions. That is, to isolate the player who tested positive and include in the lot of athletes at the disposal of their technical team all those who tested negative, 48 hours before the match.

In this sense, in another testimony of the unshakeable group spirit and tenacity of its squad, Benfica reaffirms its intention to be present tomorrow in the League Cup semi-final, with the intention of winning a trophy it has already won 7 times.
