Jorge Jesus: "We are making a very good campaign in the Europa League"

Sport Lisboa e Benfica and Lech Poznan face each other at 8 pm this Thursday, at Estádio da Luz. They will play matchday 5 of Group D of the Europa League, and the eagles are very close to qualification.

What characteristics of the match in Madeira do you feel that the team can continue against Lech Poznan?

I cannot demand the same availability and intensity that we had in the first half in Madeira. I haven't even trained with the players that played there yet, I don't know how they are. From the point of view of recovery, they don't have as much time as we would like, but that's part of the process and the big teams... It's the same for everyone. I will see today [Wednesday] in training, which will be a recovery training, the signs they will give me, to make a decision tomorrow [Thursday], but I will not field the same players.

Lech Poznan has to win to have some hope of qualifying for the next round. Can this influence the way Benfica will play?

No. The opponent's goals will not change us at all... They can change during the game, depending on whether the result is favorable or not, to what we want, which is the qualification. We are making a very good campaign in the Europa League, it is not excellent because that would be to have four wins in four matches, but it is very good.
